Arizona State University seeks a faculty associate to teach intensive Elementary Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (BCS) in its 2012 summer Critical Languages Institute. Candidates must have a Master’s degree or higher in BCS or a closely related field; possess native or near-native proficiency in both BCS and English; and have at least one year’s experience teaching BCS at the university level to non-native speakers. Strong preference will go to candidates who have successfully taught in intensive language programs and to candidates with experience teaching independently. The successful candidate will teach BCS 5 hours a day, five days a week, for seven weeks and will contribute to cultural programming.
