ON-CAMPUS HOUSING

The CLI has reserved a block of single-room housing (bath shared with one other student, communal kitchens) at Adelphi Commons for $900 for the entire 8 weeks of the CLI (all utilites & internet included). Adelphi charges a $75 application fee and requires a $200 refundable deposit. Adelphi is located on the corner of Apache Blvd. and Rural Road in Tempe, directly across the street from the ASU Main Campus. Apply directly to Adelphi Commons.

To get the CLI rate, apply as follows.

Visit Adelphi Commons.
Use the "lease online" button to download the 2009-10 License. You must use the paper form. The online form will not work for CLI applications.
On the lease form, under point 15, "Year in College", circle OTHER and write "CLI."
Disregard Part II. Your lease will $900 for the summer, plus a $75 application fee. There is a $200 refundable deposit due at time of application.

If you plan to arrive before June 7 or leave after July 31, indicate your arrival and departure dates in the "ROOMMATE DATA" section of the form. Be aware that Adelphi will charge you a pro-rated rent for the extra days.

Cholla Hall

CLI participants may stay in dorm suites (shared bath, shared living room) in Cholla Hall, directly across from the ASU campus, for rates between roughly $1200 and $1500 for the summer (all utilities & internet included). ASU residential life charges a $125 request fee. Rental rates vary depending on the number of bedrooms in the suite.

OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING

Apartments & Houses

There are several apartment complexes near the university that offer furnished apartments with short-term leases. The quality of these complexes can vary widely and may change over time. We advise students to take advantage of one or more of the numerous on-line apartment rating sites before making a decision.
