Advanced Mastery Albanian
Advanced Mastery Albanian is designed for advanced or heritage speakers of Albanian wishing to improve their mastery for professional purposes. The course emphasizes professional editing, translating, composition and stylistics. Students will work on both Tosk and Gheg.
This 6-credit course runs from June 14 to July 23 on ASU's Tempe campus. Classes will be held in the evenings and Saturday mornings.
Linda Mëniku is a native speaker of Albanian from Tirana, Albania. She is a lecturer in the departments of linguistics, journalism, and German at the University of Tirana, where she specializes in discourse analysis, Albanian as a foreign language, and media discourse. Linda has taught Albanian at the CLI since 2003. She developed and now directs the ASU summer study abroad program in Tirana.
